China’s 2019 Holiday Schedule Announced
according to a recent announcement of the General Office of the Chinese State Council, the holiday Schedule for the new year 2019 is as follows:
29 December 2018 (Saturday): normal working day,
30 December 2018 (Sunday) – 1 January 2019 (Tuesday): New Year holidays, beginning work on 2 January 2019,
2 February 2019 (Saturday) – 3 February 2019 (Sunday): normal working day,
4 February 2019 (Monday) – 10 February 2019 (Sunday): Spring Festival holiday, beginning work on 11 February 2019.
That means, Chinese government authories as well as China Certification Organisations (e.g. CQC, CCAP, CAQC, etc.) will be closed at the end of the year 2018 as well as during the chinese spring festival in February 2019. Please take this into consideration, that it may cause delays in the China CCC certification processes.
