Can I have ECE, VMVSS or ISO certifications credited
The China CCC is a completely own certification. You can not count on any other standard. This is valid in both directions.
Are there exceptions to the certification
There are a few exceptions. If you only produce parts every few years, you can do the repeat audit eg. every three years. If you make spare parts, they will not be checked in the follow-up audit, as long as you make other parts annually.
What is the cost of certification
The CCC certifications are considerably expensive. You have to reckon with regulatory efforts, as well as with an inspection of Chinese auditors annually.
Do I have to repeat the audit each year
Yes. There are a few exceptions here, but they are unlikely to apply to you. eg. Automotive spareparts, which are only produced every 3 years. These are individual works that produce small series for special models.

There will be no printing permission PoP issued
In March 2018, the authority decided to launch the PoP exhibition. It is now subject to the certification authority here to make a statement on the validity.
