The validity of certificate for glass products is 3 years, for other automotive parts 4 years.
2. How often is the INMETRO Follow-up factory inspection taken place?
The follow-up factory inspection is usually taken place 1 time each year after initial factory inspection.
3.How often will test samples be tested?
1 Time each year, test samples will be random selected and be tested for Re-qualification of the product during factory inspection.
4. Do I need to get ISO9001 or IATF16949 before application for INMETRO Certificate?
No. This is not a prerequisite.
5. How long does it take from application to get the INMETRO Certificate?
It can take 4 to 6 months.
