here are the main application processes for SNI Certification (“indonesia certification”. “indonesia certificate”):

1. Registration of the product brand in Indonesia by manufacturer or importer

2. Submitting the application documents to an SNI certification organization:

– application forms;

– trade license, commercial register extract;

– production flow chart (from raw materials to finished products);

– quality management system (ISO certificate, quality manuals, control plan);

– list of raw materials (including raw material names, suppliers, product quality certificates, etc.) and raw material test records;

– list of production equipment and tools (including name, quantity, model, brand) and maintenance records of equipment;

– list of test equipments (including device name, number, model, brand, accuracy, etc.) and calibration certificate;

– product photos and technical drawings;

– Company presentation, organizational chart, etc.

3. Signing of the agreement between manufacturers, importers and SNI;

4. Initial factory inspection by SNI officials, selection of test samples;

5. Testing the test samples in the Indonesia National Laboratory;

6. submission of the technical documents after positive result of the initial audit and the test samples;

7. issue of the SNI certificate (validity: 4 years);

8. issue of the SNI Mark by SNI;

9. Follow-Up factory inspection;

10. duration of the certification process: 3-4 months.
